Eric C. Pritz, CFP®, is a Managing Senior Partner at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA). Since 2004, Eric has provided financial advice and wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals, families, organizations, and companies.
Eric works with clients whose financial lives often involve more than an investment portfolio. A career transition, a growing business, a concentrated stock position, or meaningful equity compensation can create decisions that affect taxes, investments, retirement, estate plans, and family goals at the same time. Eric helps clients bring those decisions together through a coordinated wealth management strategy built around their priorities.
He specializes in investment management, retirement planning, trust and estate planning, risk management, and insurance planning. He has also written about the financial considerations surrounding concentrated stock positions and employee stock options. His approach considers how investment decisions fit alongside a client’s broader financial plan, including liquidity needs, tax considerations, long-term goals, and legacy priorities.
As a licensed independent insurance broker with Signature Comprehensive Insurance Services, LLC, Eric incorporates insurance and risk-management planning into the broader conversation when appropriate. His goal is to help clients make informed decisions with a clear understanding of how each part of their financial life can affect the others.
Eric has been active in the financial services industry since 2001. In 2026, he was named to InvestmentNews’ Top Financial Professionals in the USA list, ranking No. 19 nationally.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2007. Eric lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife, daughter, and son. He is an executive member of The LA25 and serves as treasurer on the board of The LA25 Foundation, which supports children’s education and the arts.
