September 10 2026
Tysons Corner, Virginia — September 10, 2026 — Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA) today announced the appointment of Aly Payne, CFP®, as Business Development Officer. Aly will lead growth initiatives across the East Coast while also serving her existing client relationships in Virginia.
In her business development role, Payne works alongside Matt Floit to identify and cultivate opportunities in East Coast markets. She partners with SEIA advisors and strategic partners to strengthen the systems that support sustainable growth, including advisor productivity, client experience, brand positioning, and centers-of-influence referral relationships.
The dual appointment reflects SEIA’s approach to growth: pairing business development leadership with hands-on client work so that the firm’s expansion strategy stays grounded in the day-to-day realities of serving clients.
Aly brings a decade of tax and financial services experience and a working knowledge of the RIA marketplace. Before joining SEIA, she held roles at Creative Planning, SBSB Financial Advisors, Centurion Wealth Management, and RBC Wealth Management.
“Aly brings a strong understanding of the tax strategies and wealth strategies that RIA clients demand today,” said Matt Floit. “Her experience supporting advisors, clients, and strategic relationships will be an important asset as SEIA continues to expand its presence and deepen its service model on the East Coast.”
“Aly has spent her career inside growing advisory firms, so she understands what it actually takes to serve families well,” said Tom West, CLU, ChFC, AIF, Managing Senior Partner at SEIA. “Having her working directly with clients in Tysons while she builds relationships across the region means our firm’s growth and our service standards stay connected.”
“I’ve seen a lot of RIA models over the past decade, and what drew me to SEIA is that the infrastructure exists to support advisors rather than constrain them,” said Aly Payne, CFP. “I’m looking forward to helping East Coast advisors grow in a way that’s sustainable, and to staying close to clients so I don’t lose sight of what that growth is for.”
Payne earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the College of Charleston and a Financial Planning Certificate from Boston University. She received her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2018 and holds a Series 66 license. She is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Greater Washington and Darkness to Light.
