Ina
Davenport
Ina Davenport is Vice President of Marketing at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA), where she leads brand strategy, communications, and marketing for the firm. Her responsibility is to make sure that what SEIA stands for is clearly defined, consistently expressed, and understood by the people who matter to the firm: clients, prospective clients, advisors considering a move, and the professionals and media who shape how the industry sees SEIA.
Ina sets the firm’s positioning and messaging and builds the programs that carry them across media relations, content, digital, events, and advisor-facing materials. She works directly with advisor-owners and firm leadership to translate how SEIA advises into how SEIA communicates, and she ties that work to the firm’s business objectives so that marketing activity can be evaluated against the goals it is meant to support.
Her career has been spent leading communications across financial services, the public sector, and television, environments where the work depends on explaining complex decisions clearly to audiences with good reason to ask hard questions. That experience shapes her view that a firm’s reputation is built through consistency between what it says and how it operates, and that marketing should reflect the substance of the work rather than decorate it.
Ina also brings a research background in human behavior, psychology, and sociology. Her 2025 study, Freedom or Death: The Hail Mary of Collective Action and the Making of Bulgarian Independence, posted on SSRN, examines the motivations and psychology behind high-stakes collective decisions made under pressure. Her writing extends to media, cognitive bias, and the way people form judgments about trust and status. In financial services, clients decide when to act, wait, or stay the course based on what they believe, and Ina applies this understanding to how SEIA listens to its audiences and communicates with them, with clarity and restraint.
Ina earned her Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. She is based in Los Angeles, California.
