Hampton C. Adams III, MBA, AIF^®, is a Partner at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, LLC (SEIA) in the firm’s Newport Beach office. With more than 30 years of financial-services experience, Hampton helps individuals, families, executives, and organizations navigate investment decisions through a disciplined understanding of markets, economic conditions, and long-term portfolio strategy.

Hampton’s work is particularly focused on economics, investment research, portfolio management, and market analysis. He helps clients understand how market developments, interest rates, economic trends, and changing investment conditions may affect their financial plans, while keeping their attention on the goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon that should guide long-term decisions.

His approach combines institutional research experience with practical wealth-management guidance. Hampton works with clients to develop investment strategies that reflect their broader financial circumstances, including liquidity needs, retirement goals, taxes, estate-planning priorities, and the role each portfolio decision plays in a coordinated plan.

Before joining SEIA, Hampton held roles with Citicorp Securities, Prudential Securities, CIBC World Markets, and the economic-consulting firm Arthur B. Laffer & Associates. His background includes equity research, institutional investment management, and investment banking. He has also shared market and economic insights through client consultations, seminars, and press commentary.

Hampton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary^® designation and is a licensed California insurance agent, California Insurance License #0I44209.

He is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and the Financial Planning Association of Orange County. A longtime Orange County resident, Hampton lives there with his family and remains active in youth sports and his local church.
