Retirement-Income Planning
Fritz helps clients prepare for retirement by aligning income needs, investment strategy, taxes, health-care considerations, and lifestyle goals over a potentially long time horizon.
Fritz Miller, CFP®, ChFC®, AIF®, is a Senior Partner at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA). With more than 40 years of experience in the securities and investment-management industry, Fritz helps affluent families, professionals, and private-company leaders make the transition from building wealth to sustaining it through retirement and across future generations.
Fritz’s approach begins with a simple question: what does a client need their wealth to support? Retirement is rarely a single financial event. It can involve income needs that may last decades, changing health-care costs, taxes, investment risk, family responsibilities, and the desire to leave a meaningful legacy. Fritz helps clients bring these considerations together in a coordinated strategy that reflects both their current needs and long-term priorities.
His work is particularly focused on retirement-income planning, investment management, portfolio cash-flow design, tax-aware strategies, and estate-planning coordination. Fritz helps clients consider how income sources, investments, debt, inflation, health-care costs, and legacy goals may affect their ability to maintain the lifestyle they want throughout retirement.
Fritz is also committed to helping clients maintain perspective during changing market conditions. His approach emphasizes long-term discipline, diversification, and a clear understanding of the role each part of a portfolio plays in supporting a client’s financial plan. He has shared these principles through hundreds of educational seminars for corporations, service organizations, nonprofits, and community groups.
Throughout his career, Fritz has built long-term client relationships and helped lead SEIA’s Pasadena practice. He works alongside a dedicated advisory and client-service team to provide ongoing guidance as clients’ lives, family circumstances, and financial priorities evolve.
Fritz is active in Pasadena civic and philanthropic initiatives. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation and supports charitable organizations affiliated with UCLA and the local community.
Fritz earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation. He is also a licensed insurance agent, California Insurance License #0685877.
Fritz and his wife have four children.
