Retirement Planning
Calvin helps clients align their investment strategy, retirement-income needs, tax considerations, and long-term priorities as they prepare for and move through retirement.
Calvin Tseng, CFP®, EA, is a Financial Advisor at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA). Since joining SEIA in 2019, he has worked closely with SEIA CEO Brian D. Holmes to provide comprehensive wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals, with an emphasis on retirement planning, estate strategies, and tax-efficient planning.
For many clients, financial decisions are interconnected. Retirement plans, investment choices, tax considerations, estate strategies, and insurance needs can all affect their ability to meet both current and long-term priorities. Calvin helps clients understand how these pieces fit together and build a thoughtful strategy around what matters most to them.
Calvin’s CFP® and EA credentials support a planning process that considers how investment decisions, retirement income, and estate strategies may affect a client’s broader financial picture. His approach is centered on helping clients evaluate their options with greater clarity and make informed decisions as their circumstances evolve.
Calvin’s commitment to client education is rooted in personal experience. His parents immigrated to the United States from Taiwan, and helping manage their finances showed him how poor investment advice can affect a family’s future. That experience shaped his desire to help others who may face similar challenges. He has also served clients in their native language and supported financial-literacy education for students in underserved communities.
Calvin is a member of SEIA’s Team Holmes, which was recognized by InvestmentNews as a 2026 5‑Star Wealth Management Team.
Calvin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in 2019 and earned the Enrolled Agent designation in 2022. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, along with a California Life and Health Insurance license, #4245924. Calvin provides client service in English and conversational Chinese.
