Azim Nakhooda is a Senior Partner at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors, LLC (SEIA) in the firm’s Cleveland office. He works with individuals, families, and organizations on the investment and financial decisions that shape their long-term goals, helping bring portfolio strategy, financial planning, and personal priorities together in a coordinated approach.

Azim’s work is particularly focused on investment management, portfolio construction, market strategy, and comprehensive wealth planning. He helps clients consider how investment objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, taxes, retirement goals, and family priorities can work together over time, particularly during periods of market and economic uncertainty.

His investment perspective is informed by experience in both private-client and philanthropic portfolio management. Before joining SEIA, Azim served as Director of Investments at Cleveland Financial Group, where he managed investment processes for a private-client group, advised on portfolio construction, and served as a liaison to partner asset-management firms. Earlier in his career, he worked at Fidelity Investments in Boston, focusing on philanthropic portfolio management.

Azim is a periodic contributor to financial publications and has shared insights on portfolio strategy, market developments, risk management, and the relationship between economic conditions and long-term financial decisions. He has also presented on financial-planning and market topics for professional and community audiences.

Azim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University. He is a Registered Representative with Signature Estate Securities and an Investment Adviser Representative with SEIA.

Active in the Cleveland community, Azim has volunteered with the Arthritis Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, University Hospitals, and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He lives in Aurora, Ohio, with his wife and three children. Outside the office, he remains hopeful that he will one day play a round of golf at Augusta National.
